  It's a cheap place close to the town, I'll not call it a nice and beautiful hotel. If you are looking for a place to sleep where close to the town then yeah, this is your place.

  Great location, helpful staff, good price. One of the better b&b establishments in Edinburgh, I'll be returning.

  We had a lovely stay at Abileen Guest House. We were given a very warm and friendly welcome upon our late arrival on a Friday night and there was plenty of free parking as advertised. The room (top level twin) was clean and tidy and had fantastic views. The rest of the guest house was also very clean and well looked after. There were towels and toiletries to use in the bathroom which was great as we'd forgotten ours. We went out for dinner and drinks and arrived back in the early hours which wasn't a problem as we had our own key given to us. The beds were comfortable and we both enjoyed a good night sleep. There was a very thoughtful selection of bread, spreads, yoghurt, cereal and fruit refrigerated in the room for breakfast which meant we could get up and go when we needed. I would definitely stay here again for another visit to Edinburgh. The owners should be very pleased with the guest house and their service thank you from both of us.

  A friendly, no nonsense little place. Clean, available and near to the centre. Good value too. I recommend it.
