::This is by far the best haircut experience I’ve had.. I wasn’t expecting it given the reasonable price of the haircut. Alim cut my hair, he was extremely professional and paid meticulous attention to detail. He was very friendly and made sure I was comfortable throughout the experience. Also, the complementary Turkish coffee was a great touch :)

::After reading the numerous good reviews about this place, I thought I would give this place a try. I was politely greeted, offered a drink and my coat was hung in the cloakroom. Hair was washed, slightly blow-dried and cut. After a hard long 6 day working week the face shave experience was definitely worth it. Hot face towels the perfect way to relax (and nearly fall asleep). Cut was then finished off. Great attention to detail was taken throughout my visit by Yanus and I will definitely be visiting again soon. Would be great to offer a free cut after a certain number of visits for loyal custom. Very pleased with my cut and highly recommend the service these guys provided.

::I appreciate there are many high reviews which in part led me here in the first place, so I hope this helps some albeit not all. The salon is nicely presented and compact. It’s of course also conveniently located. So far I understand the relatively high cost (location and decor) The hair washing process is unusual and uncomfortable with a lean forward process that results in your face getting completely wet The haircut itself is brief (approximately fifteen minutes) and predominantly done with clippers and thinning scissors. This probably works best for those looking for shaved and modern cuts and crucially those looking to have their hair cut regularly I, myself was looking to have my hair tidied and shortened by about an inch. I got the reverse, it’s now an inch long (no joke). This is due to a miscommunication where I wanted my hair to go behind my ears not over them - instead I got no hair anywhere near my ears. Given the severity of the cut I would have thought he would have checked. Perhaps you’re wondering how or why I let it happen.. well he started at the back, which makes it very difficult to asses until its too late - for £32 I had expected he knew what he was doing... So now I have very short shaved hair which will take 6 months plus to grow back and no layers meaning 2/3 unnecessary additional cuts to get them back in I wasn’t offered the drink, hot towel massage or eyebrow or ear flaming (which you pay for). I am left with a decent cut, just not what I wanted at all. If you want something traditional, grown up or takes/needs more time and understanding this place is not for you. If not it’s probably quite good

::I can’t say enough good things about Adam Grooming at Canary Wharf. This is my go to barber shop in London and after 7 or 8 consistently great haircuts, this review is long overdue! The last few times I have been in, Eddie has cut my hair and done a fantastic job! Although the welcome drink and hot towel massage are quite lovely, the most important thing is the barbers listen to what Iisten to what I want and ask questions along the way, ensuring I’m satisfied. While the shop can get quite busy, I’ve never felt rushed in my haircut and feel they do a thorough job. Additionally, although ear flaming and eyebrow trimming are included in the price, I’m not a fan of either of those services, and am happy that they ask me before doing them. For a fantastic haircut and experience, the £32 is well worth the price!

::I have been going to Adam for a year now and i use to love this place. £32 is a bit expensive but I didn't mind because the cut was always top quality and I loved the whole traditional Turkish barber experience. But the last 3 times I've went here the quality of the haircut has dropped and they haven't done the ear flaming the last two time even though you are paying for it in the treatment. Today I went here at lunch time and got a very average haircut. I asked for a stylish fade and instead I got a plain and simple short, back and sides. I asked to keep the length at the top so as i can push it back but instead I got it all cut very short with thinning scissors. It's not a terrible haircut, its just not what i asked for and it was no better than a £10 haircut. I know Adam has opened a new barbers elsewhere and the boss who use to always be in the Canary wharf branch might be based at the new branch (I haven't see him the last few times I've been in) so maybe this is the reason for the drop in standards. The current staff in canary wharf these days just don't seem very interested in what the customer wants and the haircut seems to nearly take half the time it use to. Anyway, I think my Adam days are over which is a shame..
