::Perfectly decent Toyota service centre and dealership. Staff always very helpful, polite, professional and friendly. Quality of repair work is good as far as I can say.

::13/04- I have been advised by the branch that it has been requested this review be removed. I believe this review is an accurate reflection of my experience and should not be removed. Arnold Clark(AC) firstly please note I never ever publicly put up a bad review regarding a company but I really did have the worst experience ever buying a used car from AC Toyota Bishopbriggs. Maybe I am just un lucky but I wanted to share my experience and to say if you are purchasing a red Peugeot 308 cc convertible registration SH10 FGO from AC please be aware. Please make sure the car is not pulling to one side and get the tyres/alloys checked. I traded in my old car, a Mini Cooper sport convertible and purchased the Peugeot 308. The new car had problems within the first few days of purchase, loosing tyre pressure(dropping from 40-20) in 2 tyres and car pulling badly to one side(left) I reported the fault to AC and the car was booked in to be repaired. V5 came through so I had pre arranged for AC to put back on my private registration plates whilst doing the repair . After driving the car for 1 day, I noticed the private registration plate was not correct. I had been driving around for 24 hours with an illegal plate on. Took the car straight back and AC made up new plates. Tyre pressure fault came back and the car started to pull badly again to the left. Car went back to AC for 2nd attempt to fix faults. Car was in for a few days and AC provided me with a courtesy car . When I went in to collect my car, I was told my car had been damaged in the branch and the car would need to go back in for some body work repairs for a few days. I was told a mechanic had worked on my car for 7 hours , 2 tyres had been replaced, car had gone for 3 test drives and Peugeot had been consulted with regards to fault/repair. Drive the car out of the garage and first part of straight road , I tested the car to see if the fault had been fixed and surprise surprise the car pulled to the left. Took the car straight back and AC provided me with the courtesy car again. After AC having the car again, this time for 14 days and their 3rd attempt at trying to fix the car , I decided it was time to discuss handing the car back. It was agreed AC would accept the car back and refund me in full for purchase price and 6 months road tax. Also agreed to refund any car insurance I had paid to date and any cost associated with changing or cancelling my car insurance. Considering AC had the car more than me in the few weeks of purchase this is the minimum they could do. There was a difference of roughly £1700 for what I traded my old car in for and what they had advertised my mini for sale for. I appreciate there is costs involved in preparing a car for sale and I don’t know what the mini sold for but there was good profit in the sale of my old car. Needing to purchase another car, I discussed there was a car I liked in Toyota Paisley and could they look at selling me this car for the refund amount of the Peugeot and 6 months road tax FOC. There was only about £298 difference plus the road tax cost. They said NO..But they did offer me the hired car for a further 7 days FOC. I personally don’t think it’s right AC should be walking away from this deal making profit and offering me no help in obtain a new car. My experience and inconvenience has been shocking . I have over the last 16 months purchased 4 cars from Arnold Clark not sure if I will be purchasing a 5th. On a positive note , salesman Jaz and customer service staff are excellent and I can’t fault them . Thanks for your efforts in trying to resolve my car issue. After speaking with the senior management team , I feel more disappointed. Branch have now gone back in agreement to pay insurance change/cancellation. Now I have no car and a possible insurance bill of £280. This has honestly been the worst ever experience I have had a customer.

::Had my car in for service and what can I say about the team. I was kept informed at all times and got a great on tyres. The valet was to a high standard and I was recognised by my sales person. Friendly warm service from all the staff at the Briggs.

::Customer service just isn't what it used to be. Phoned the other day for someone to answer hawd Ian (not even kidding) they she put the phone down for 7 minutes 48 seconds before eventually just hanging up. Phoned back straight away and the girl who answered the second time was a bit more professional. She said she had no idea who answered the first time, I find that hard to believe as it's not the biggest of places. As I was dropping off my car to the garage (which I have used for 9 years across two cars) there was a distinct lack of what is usually good customer service. Infact before they had even looked at the car or even took the key they told me it needed to have fuel treatment at a cost of 18.99. My experience is summed up by when I arrived to pick up my car and walked in to see a member of staff having a shouting match with two customers that resulted in the member of staff presuing the two customers out the door yelling "stupid" at them. Used to be a five star place now I'm probably being generous with 3 I should also say that Nick (who sold me my second car) was probably the main reason for that as he somehow remembered my name after 2 years and was friendly and welcoming and probably saved a bit of face for a garage who has maybe lost too much of the company values that Toyota used to offer. Doubt I will be making the effort to use this garage in future however.

::Absolute brilliant experience at Arnold Clark Toyota. The customer service was on a level never seen before. Complimentary drinks and biscuits while getting seen to. Great deal on the car we got too and a lot of extras too. If anyone actually takes the time to read this review and are thinking of going here to look for a car, ask for Colin Houston. This guy helped us out and he made us feel welcome and relaxed as looking for a car is quite stressfull. The aftercare is very good too. Make sure its the Toyota one and not the Renault one you go to. Recommend anyone to Arnold Clark Toyota.
