  Shelves are barely ever stocked but the staff are friendly from what I’ve experienced.

  Staff are helpful, i can find what i want very easily easy access to the carpark and other surrounding shops.

  Apaling service this morning. Had dealt with 7 members of staff (all of whom fell short of giving the expected level of customer service) before I left the shop in a very disgruntled mood. I only went in to get 2 helium balloons inflated; which were purchased in the same store prior to today's visit. I was sent on a wild goose chase around the shop before being sent to the correct area for inflation of the balloons via 4 members of staff (3 of them had no idea where to send me but directed me incorrectly anyway). They seemed surprised that I wanted ribbon and weights for the balloons (part of the deal I was sold). I was only given ribbon, no weights, and ended up being the one to hold the balloons while the staff member tied the ribbon to them. She made a comment under her breath about how much ribbon I had asked for (which not at all excessive!). Will never use this service at Asda again and would deter anyone who is considering it.

  I would like to make a complaint about a member of staff on the self service checkout. The checkout wasn't working properly so I walked away and went into the store the check the price of a £1 packet of sweets. Your employee screamed at me across the store in front of the other customers to come back I wasn't allowed to leave the machine, she then shouted at the other customers to get out of her way because I had to stand there and be told off. She called security and told them I was trying to steal sweets (I was still inside the store). I advised her I was going back to check the price and the machine wasn't working and I was going to a till. She then made me stand there whilst she tried to fix the machine shouting and hitting it until she got it to work. I felt completely humiliated and embarrassed she spoke to me like a child. Unfortunately I didn't get her name as she walked off. But she was and older lady light brown hair and a big mouth. This incident happened today at around 11am.

  To be honest I must give credit were it is due. I am a very sensitive customer having just lost my husband and if someone smiles at you while being served it really goes a long way. Maybe it is also because I also work with the public. Today I met very friendly service. Upstairs I was served with a lady called Lesley she was very friendly all the way. I bought my goods which cost me about $200+ I really bought things that I had not budgeted for and could carry everything in the end. To make matters worse I could not find a packing space the time I came to town and ended up packing elsewhere. When I bought my goods the shop was closing and was me with heavy goods that I could not carry. I asked the guy who was selling cigarettes if I could leave my goods as they were too much and too heavy to carry to where I had packed my car. The guy who was selling cigarettes refused point black saying that because they were closed. But then came my ANGEL...THE MAN OFFERED TO HELP ME..HE STOOD OUTSIDE WITH MY GOODS. I WENT TO PICK UP MY CAR CAME BACK AND HE WAS STANDING OUTSIDE WITH MY GOODS..I TAKE MY HAT OFF THIS MAN. HE SAID HIS NAME WAS DANIEL....I HOPE I HAVE GOT HIS NAME RIGHT....THIS IS WHAT WE CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE....I HOPE YOU ARE GOING TO READ THIS AND SHOW IT TO OTHERS....*****
