  Was in here yesterday & not for the first time staff targeting family's with children as you're putting shopping on belt trying to sell Easter bunnies, asking kids do you want a bunny, of course there going to say Yes, then it's ok put it on belt for dad/mum to pay, not only did the staff try sell 1 but 2 different ones, I was disgusted at Xmas when they was trying to offload galaxy bars etc, poor customer service, I worked in retail many years & yes you target sell certain lines but to chase people round shop is something else.

  Very convenient for the Wortley area. Good opening hours - till 10.00pm Mon-Sat. Decent range of products for most purposes and the prices are exactly the same as any other Asda store which I think is pretty fair. I don't like to pay more in smaller stores. The staff are friendly and helpful and there's usually a good atmosphere. Only negative: I wish they would have at least one full-time staffed checkout. In the evenings it tends to be self service only which can be annoying for certain items eg bottles of spirits that have to be de-tagged. The staff are there to help but it's just having to flag someone down that can hold things up and if I have a big shop to do it takes ages to put all the stuff through!

  I just love how easy it is to just nip in grab ya goods and get back out un under 5 mins unlike morrisons where it takes atleast 3.5hrs to get throu check out. Love asda

  There must be some management problems happening in this store - found it sold out of date sandwich before and several times it opened its door late so customers needed to wait outside and wait...
