::A lovely place, as long as you get the weather!! No EHU's, but has everything else, showers, toilets and disposal points. On one afternoon when it didn't rain we had a lovely walk along one of the many woodland trails. We will be visiting again, in summer.

::Rainy and cold weekend with 2 kids so the site was very quiet. Had a great time in muddy puddles, seeing the horses and exploring the undergrowth. Ground was extremely boggy with the weather but hard standing pitches ok with a tent. Showers, laundry etc very clean. Local fullers pub on the corner has a great play area.

::A wonderful place for clue families and anyone really. The free roaming ponies and cattle may not be to everyone's tastes and it is not recommended to feed them as they will tear into your tent looking for more it is also highly advisable to take children who are of an age to understand how to behave around WILD ANIMALS the site is not a petting zoo and the animals can injure folk if provoked. The close proximity of both the bueley motor museum and the Sammy miller motorcycle make this the perfect destination for any petrol head young or old

::The pros is that bathroom is clean, showers are hot, there is a mini market close by and it's accessible. The cons is that the campsite is between a busy rail and a highway so anywhere you go it's noisy day and night. The horses come and lick our table and put their nose in bags looking for food. They seem calm but you never know. This also left me slightly uneasy with my children.

::Whilst I think the location is nice and I understand it's camping in the forest and a bit rustic, for £25.00 a night there is much better sites out there. The facilities (shower and toilets) have only been half open for the period we have been here and whilst I'm not the shy and retiring type, I found it uncomfortable trying to use a toilet with a queue of people stood outside waiting for a shower. It doesn't take a mathematician to work out that three showers might not be enough for a busy campsite. The Aviemore site in the same group is a world apart from this one. I am actually a local to this area and have to say I was disappointed by this site.
