::Booked two months in advance for two couples in two rooms . Tried the book a evening time slot for a meal a week before our visit only to be told only one room was booked .the hotel staff did sort this out and agreed to time slot of 9.30 for dinner . Hours before we arrived I had a phone call asking if we wanted a time slot for dinner . Once again the staff Did sort this out . Checking was slow and no information was given .But due to the earlier cock up by the hotel we were upgraded and had a lovely room After that it want down hill . Service was slow taking 3 hours to complete a 3 course meal .(40 minute to offered a drink at the table ) As for breakfast .wow , That was even slower , 1.15 to have some scramble egg and a coffee . Have to say lovely hotel great location but really really bad service. Not what I would ave a expected from a top chain hotel . Very disappointed but on a plus side we did all laugh about it as it was so bad. ( faulty towers comes to mind )

::Worth it just for the view of the gorge and suspension bridge! Must have been refurbished in the last few years as much nicer inside then l remember. Can't comment on the food as we just had nibbled and a drink. Limited Paid parking outside.

::The pub is usually a very nice choice but has always been slightly too expensive. The food was lovely but I personally think the price for just a burger on it's own is too much. For me, 80 percent of the allure of this pub is the amazing views over the gorge but the balcony was under renovation so it sadly became just an overpriced pub for the day. I love the huge pizza Idea but the drinks and other food is slightly too expensive to justify when the outside area is closed

::The pub with the best view in Bristol. Really nice, food there is brilliant. People are friendly, have a good selection of spirits. The beer garden is amazing. The hotel itself is really nice as well.

::Nicely decked out place with a cool terrace overlooking the gorge which is an amazing view. The food was very good too but it starts to go downhill from here. Unfortunately the service was some of the slowest I've seen in a long time. 2 lattes took around 25 min to arrive, didn't arrive at the same time and weren't even in the same size cups! Food took even longer. Take a look at my pic of the queue for the bar! It wouldn't be so bad but staff weren't seeming to make any effort to hurry up even though it was clearly very busy. The prices were expensive too and though we weren't in a car on this occasion there wasn't any obvious place to park nearby. This place has great potential but the service really needs to improve.
