  Really disappointed that Bannetyne shows very little compassion and flexibility in changing a booking when ther is a case of extreme circumstance. Booked a spa day and treatments at Bannatyne Peterborough with a friend on Friday 9 Feb. Sadly had to take my son in A&E so could not make the spa day, we phoned and explained the situation but we were told that they can’t do anything so we lost our booking.

  We had a spa day but only spent 2 hours there as it was busy for a weekday. Pool, changing room and hot tubs were very busy. All areas are also very loud pool, cafe, changing rooms so wasn't relaxing. Treatment was fantastic but I would not recommend spending a spa day here as it is focus for gym members and the more of a social gathering for retirees. Not a typical relaxing spa day and if you want to chill and relax go elsewhere this is not the place.

  My daughter bought me a spa day and afternoon experience . We were very disappointed with the location of the place parking was an issue with loads of cars parked on verges . Reception was excellent and greater by a lovely young lady called Ellie who was great very professional . The spa was above the kitchen and cafe area so quite noisy . The room was lovely and beauties were professional . The ambiance was spoilt by banging heard during the session so relaxing was an issue and spoilt it for us . The afternoon tea was also a big let down as it was in the cafe area by reception with limited seating and very open with a view of the car park . The tea was 6 half sandwiches not nicely cut as in the advertisement and 3 were turkey on wholemeal and stuffing and 3 were on white bread with bits of cucumber 3 small scones normally 2 but the young girl said she put a 3rd one as so small . The cakes were awful and tasted synthetic. Very disappointed and upset for my daughter as she paid over a £100 for this and went without money on apprentice wage . Would not recommend this place I am sorry to say .

  I organised a spa day for me and my mum as a 50th birthday present I spent over a £100 on a neck back and shoulder massage, hand and arm massage and afternoon tea. We were greeted by a very helpful reception however the spa experience wasn’t great as we could hear noises coming from below so made it very hard to relax. On the phone we were lead to believe both treatmeants altogether would be an hour long and we were only in there 45 minutes and the afternoon tea was very disappointing not presented well nothing like the pictures the sandwiches were just cut in half one set of sandwiches was just white bread butter and cucumber and the other set was brown bread butter turkey and warm stuffing the breads were very dry there was 3 scones that were stupidly small and the treats on the top were sub standard nothing spectacular for what I had paid, the location was awful. In my opinion afternoon tea should be in a special quiet little room not sat in the middle of reception in front of the car park. I’m truly not happy with my experience at all.

  Went for a facial, staff were really professional, my treatment was amazing. Facilities looked great, they have a cafe, gym and indoor pool.
