  Oh dear Barclays you have let me down. I came into branch as executor of my mothers account to sort the transfer of her account to mine held with Barclays also. I was told by the very nice lady assistant that with it being a small transaction it would not take long, days not weeks. With this money being used to pay for the funeral the shorter the time scale the better. After arriving home from the funeral yesterday I find a letter from Barclays bereavement department asking me to fill in the enclosed forms with all my personal details that I had already given them. I rang them to ask why and I was told it was because the assistant in branch had filled out the wrong part of the form on screen. I now have to wait how long until the money gets transferred and to top it all you didn't include a return envelope so it's cost me the price of a stamp as well.

  entrance always scruffy lots wasted space inside and very little staff
