  Need to train the staff more. The lady cashiering 05 Feb 2018 waved my driving licence around to her colleague asking him if he had ever seen one like mine. It's an Irish Licence and obviously if the staff in Barclays Wolverhampton haven't seen it, it must not exist!! After insinuating to a crowd of people queuing behind me that it wasn't proper identification she went to get the manager. Is a valid driving licence not proper identification Barclays? It's just the insurance company I have my car with accepted it no problem. I also asked the cashier before she got my licence could she change €15.00 into sterling. The same lady told me I couldn't have the sterling into my hand, it would have to be lodged in my account. What???? Very disappointed. Could have been handled so much better. Customer service awful.

  SHOCKING!!! Tried to book an appointment to open my children an account. Staff on the phone didn't even know the address of the bank, asked for a direct number to the bank and told we had to go through the call centre after giving account and sort code details. Whatever happened to a friendly service where the customer comes first.
