  I wanted buttons for a marcella waistcoat, the man behind the counter told me that he had some somewhere. But unfortunately he couldn't be bothered to look for them?! Too busy on his laptop!

THEIR ARE TWO PROPRIETORS' THAT RUN THE SHOP. A MALE. AND A FEMALE. THE FEMALE IS QUITE A POLITE' & HELPFUL PERSON IN TRYING TO ACCOMMODATE YOUR DESIRED WEARS.. BUT" HER MALE PARTNER IS AT BEST" GRUMPY' AND CAN BECOME QUITE AGITATED VERY QUICKLY AT THE IDEA! OF GIVING A REFUND! SO' PICK YOUR MOMENT' AND CHOOSE YOUR FEMALE PROPRIETOR. AND YOU SHOULD BE ONTO A WINNER

  Amazing place to pick up some swanky vintage clothes. The staff are warm and friendly, prices are very fair. Give this place a visit, it's worth your curiousity!

  I have used beatnik for about 3-4 years I absolutely love it, my favourite shop in Southampton I have many retro coats and cool band t shirts from here. The staff are particularly wonderful caring and helpful.This shop although perfect all year round is exceptional for wanting to get into the summer lovin' spirit of the 60's and getting geared up for festivals with a range of bright awesome rain coats and other awesome bits and bobs. I always have a pleasant experience every time I come into store and hope to use beatnik for years to come, there's no other place like it! Highly highly recommend 🌺
