  Have never came across a company that don't know what they're doing as much as Bensons for Beds. Ordered a mattress for an electric bed weeks ago. Was supposed to be ordered on Wed but never turned up. Called them to find out where it was and was told by staff in Bishipbriggs store that we hadn't been in when it was delivered, assured them we were in the whole day waiting on it, had been up since 7am in case it came early and there was certainly no one at the door. Was then told we were phoned by delivery drivers 40 minutes before delivery, again assured them no one had called. By this point, as u can imagine I was furious, so told them I wanted to cancel the order and be given a refund. Was told not possible and someone would call us next day. Next morning someone called to apologize saying there was mix up with paper work and they tried to deliver it to wrong house. 2 days later receive another phone call saying it wasn't even put on the van on supposed delivery day and they have no idea when it will be delivered again! This is just not acceptable service by a business and quite frankly would be surprised if they're not breaking the law by refusing to give us a refund as they have not delivered on their end of the contract and failed to provide a service. I will be contacting trading standards on Monday to take the matter further as I have a woman with severe disabilities having to sleep on a couch for 3 nights so far and for god knows how much longer as can be given no inclination where the mattress us or when its being delivered to us. Quite frankly a disgrace, customer service skills leave a lot to be desired!
