  I had quite a good time, however on week days, children are only allowed in the pool between 2-5pm. The room was good as well as the bar.

  Lovely place to stay. Staff very helpful at all times. Food very good. Bedrooms very comfortable.

  Lovely premises for the wedding I was attending. Staff courteous and welcoming and a large enough dance floor for everyone to join in the celebration. Rooms were also convenient for the main event room. The only reason it lost one star from my rating was the slightly difficult breakfast regime the following morning. Not the greatest choice of cooked items available and the bacon was rather underdone to my taste and all rather greasy, nor was there a real choice of eggs. Toast grilling machine left a lot to be desired too - but that is sadly fairly usual with those machines. Despite these negative breakfast comments, other than that the wedding day itself was brilliantly run and everyone said how much they had enjoyed the event and how well the Bolthot had treated them. If considering a wedding venue, I can recommend the Bolholt Country Park Hotel.

  This venue has one of my favourite hotel gyms I've been to. It's located in what used to be horse stables and many of the beams and features are still intact. The pool is clean and spacious with a very high wooden panelled apex ceiling. It's an extremely relaxing environment. My son attended a social function at the hotel recently and the staff were very welcoming and professional. We booked relatives from the USA on a recent visit into the hotel and they were very impressed. The Boholt offers the charm of a country club at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend.
