  I had a great buying experience with the lovely guys at Automart Blackpool recently. I was in the market for a small car for my pensioner Mum, and I took her here to view some suitable cars. We wandered around the lot looking at the various vehicles I'd identified from their website as suitable candidates and were allowed to do this all without the usual 'harassment' from the salesmen (usually thinly disguised as 'being helpful') one sometimes gets at car dealers. When I did finally go into the office and express an interest in a particular vehicle, the salesman (Chris) just gave me the keys and a set of trade plates and told us to go have a test drive (on our own). There was absolutely no pressure to buy, nor expectation from him that we would, throughout: he just wanted us to really asses the vehicle for ourselves. This really helped my unassuming Mum and put us both at our ease. By the time we came back, Chris the salesman had inspected my mum's old car and come up with a very satisfactory part-ex deal without the need for any 'horse-trading' on my part. I was happy the new car was mechanically sound (although a free 30 day guarantee on major mechanical breakdowns was also reassuring), plus the vehicle had already been MOT'd and inspected by them. So we paid a small deposit and bought the car there and then. A few days later the car was ready for collection, having been valeted and also having had rear parking sensors fitted at our request (at a knock-down price even though fitted by the local main dealer). Half an hour of ubiquitous paperwork filling later, and we were done. Best car buying experience I've had to date. Very comfortable atmosphere, nothing too much trouble, and the salesmen were never overbearing or giving us the 'hard sell'. Perfect. I cant recommend these guys enough. If you want to avoid the traditional 'car salesman experience', then this is the place to go.
