  This shop used to be in Holborn, where the new Waitrose is. Now relocated further down in much smaller premises. Used to spend hours (and money) browsing through technical tax and accounting materials. Now just a shadow of what it used to be! I understand that they now focusing on their range on-line. That's progress for you!

  Plenty of selection but the staff are not as attentive as they used to be. If you need legal literature, you're probably better off going to wildeys down the road from this place. Nonetheless I cannot give them any negative comments.

  Very small bookshop. Never answer their phone so you can check stock before you make an unnecessary journey. Very limited stock and has no association with the publishing company of the same name. Go to Foyles instead.

  Really lovely shop to just browse in ( before you then have to stop yourself buying more books than you can carry 🤣). Particularly liked the big selection of employee recommendations. This is a great way to read something I may not have chosen before.

  The bookstore didn't have either of two books that I wanted. However, the coffee shop made a very nice dry cappuccino. And the carrot cake was "okay".
