  Just returned from a 3 night stay at Blakeney Guest House, Louise and Mark are great hosts and make you feel more than welcome. It was our 40th wedding anniversary and a bottle of prosecco was waiting for us on our arrival; thank you very much. The breakfasts were excellent and in addition there was a different speciality breakfast available each morning. Our room was superb and the bed very comfortable. The 4 star rating is very, very well deserved and we would have no hesitation in recommending staying here and look forward to returning next year. Blanche & Ray

  Very friendly staff and excellent breakfast offered. Only a miles walk from York town.

  Nice clean rooms and the breakfast was nice a long walk into the centre. Nothing bad to say about the place just your average stay.

  Great bar, with a good atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks. The staff were fairly friendly although I wouldn't call it outstanding service, but overall a very pleasant venue
