::Very Victorian view of animals (mostly birds) some exhibits strike me as being possibly unsuitable for very little ones (thinking the sheep, lamb and gulls).. But both my kids love it (6 year old has deep thoughts about the lamb + gulls so it appears I was wrong and the Victorians may have been right)

::great place for a Sunday visit with grandson. Staff need a softer approach

::Nice place to take your kids to discover a huge range of birth, different animal skeletons and insects. Entrance is for free, and all family can enjoy the experience.

::Very nice museum. It seems to be very small, but they have a lot of exhibits. Admission is free, so it is good way to spend a while there.

::A great, well presented collection of avian taxidermy from many shores occupies three walls of the interior; literally floor-to-ceiling! There are further displays of the skeletons of various species, some interactive displays (including a microscope), and some displays of fossils and minerals. Don't let it's size deceive you; this is a very interesting little museum of natural history.
