::Went for the dry cut. Not too much to say about it but the hairdresser was nice and cut my hair well. Clean, tidy and professional salon

::A fantastic haircut! I'm very picky about where I choose to get my hair cut. Bouton de Rose didn't disappoint. I will be booking my 3rd appointment there soon.

::Me and my wife have been coming to this fantastic salon for the past two years. The staff are great individuals and are always welcoming you. Always a great experience and never had any issues at all within the two years of coming to this outstanding salon.

::I had the worst haircut experience in my life - if you don't have patience to read on, just simply avoid this place at all costs. I do not want refund or compensation of any form, I just want to share this terrible experience as it disgusted me the whole evening. It's the only time in my life I got told that I should be grateful as she was "doing me a favour" after I paid for the service in FULL. In case you wonder if I was so unhappy then why put up with it - imagine my hair was half cut, what choice did I have instead of getting through it? I had my haircut here for last one and half years because location was convenient and Adina was good (no longer works here) - I will NEVER come back in my life. Today I called at 5.30pm and booked a 6.30pm haircut appointment - I knew it would be just wet and cut because salon closing at 7, which was fine as I wouldn't have time for blow dry anyway. I was asked how long my hair was; I specifically said "just a bit longer than shoulder", then I was quoted a price. When at the salon, I said I wanted to cut my hair to neck length. I was told that was a "restyling" and more expensive. I said fine as I was desperate to cut my hair and I do not usually have time. The hairdresser was clearly in a hurry to go home. I tried to show her pictures of my haircut before it grew long, she barely had time to wait for me to flick through the pictures. She cut my hair without even checking with me the length I wanted, without checking whether it was cut even, whether both sides are symmetrical and how I wanted the parting. Basically - there was ZERO communication of what I wanted. I tried telling her about the parting but she had trouble understanding me. All this time I tried to hold my temper and be nice so she wouldn't ruin my hair in a grudge as she looked super impatient. I was completely blurred when she signalled it was done - if I had counted the number of cuts, it would be less than 20 cuts. I walked in at 6.33pm and all done at 6.50pm, including quick wash (4mins) and drying the hair (4mins). At the till, I asked to see the price list, which said Dry Cut £30, Cut and Blow Dry £38-60. She told me price would be £48 but she'd charge me £45 (a made up price basically) because there wasn't blow dry. I swiftly paid for it then I told her it wasn't right to treat customer this way - you don't get them to walk through the door then quote a different price. She got very defensive then we embarked on a 10-15 mins argument. I explained it wasn't about the money (I already paid anyway) but about principle. She was super rude and basically said "I have 15 years experience. you booked for 6.30 and you should thank me for doing you a favour, getting it done quickly" (I felt VERY OFFENDED! Since when did I force you to stay back to cut my hair?! Say no was always an option rather than doing in a rush with grudge?! Also I have paid FULL price, the haircut was NOT a favour by you!) She said "you got your haircut and you paid so what are you complaining about now?!". Also another lady came out and asked what the issue was; the hairdresser then lied and accused that I had arm length long hair that's why she charged me more. I was very angry because that was a blunt lie, I tried to show them pictures from a week ago, in which my hair was just about chest length, not even meeting my breast line! I was very angry because people lied! (At the end of day, I paid what they asked for before all these arguments. it's just £15 more than what I was told on the phone but I hate dishonesty! Also hairdressers happen to be in a very powerful position - customers do not have choice to walk out in the middle - I felt I was held hostage in certain way while my hair was being cut)
