  Dan the tile specialist is the most helpful assistant I've come across in years, knows his stuff and kept his word. The mocha marble tiles will do nicely.

  Ordered laminste floor and within 15mins it was in my car on my way home. Stacf could not have been more helpfull

  Rate this experience as minus 2. Yet again I visit B and Q Cardiff gate and the staff have no idea of stock or location in the store. I went to gardening dept to look for an outdoor tap kit. Eventually found an assistant who sent me to Isle 24 almost the other end. No sign of what I wanted in 24, so asked again and was sent back to gardening, who sent me back to Isle 24! At the desk I was greeted politely, and to to go back to gardening. When I asked them to call an assistant, it was 10 minutes and the male assistant had been chatting to one of the young female assistants nearby. The tap kit was hidden at isle 24, one type only available and out of site. I gave up looking for the other items on my list- and took my custom to homepage where I could find assistants willing to help. Previously I was kept waiting for 40 minutes for an assistant to advise on flooring. Eventually one turned up and admitted he was fairly clueless!

  Visited B&Q Cardiff Gate today to purchase paint for my furniture restoration business. The staff were so friendly and helpful and really do go the extra mile for the customers. I was particularly impressed with Phil from the paint department. He is very knowledgeable about the products available and a pleasure to speak to. I will buying all my paints from here in the future.

  Visited BQ today to buy a light fitting\ bulbs but did not know what I wanted. The assistant Phil was very knowledgeable and willing to advise me I left very happy. Fantastic device well done Phil.
