My wife and I visited your Branch on Skippers Lane Industrial Estate this afternoon in order to buy wallpaper and one or two other items. I could not find the paper I was looking for so asked one of the ladies in the decorating section to help. A lady called Jackie immediately volunteered her services. This lady went out of her way to help my wife and I choose the wallpaper we finally chose. She also helped with matching the papers that would complement each other, she was even on her hands and knees in order to get at the rolls that had become lodged at the back of the shelf. Once again. Big thanks to B@Q and especially to Jackie.

It's NOT got everything you need for DIY jobs even though it's web address is diy! I was decorating my hallway this week and found: You can buy lamps but not the fittings to refit in a broken one. Only one size counter sink drill bit. Paint tray comes with rollers, you can't just buy trays. Skirting board profiles don't match existing ones in a 1960s-built house. Very disappointing. And I had to take their Valspar v700 paint back because it was very patchy with roller application and left steaks with brush application, even after 2 coats. Rubbish stuff. I've been diy decorating for 30 years.

Great parking on a medium-sized retail park. Busy during the week and very busy at weekends. The store is brilliant for its choice of paints. I love the wallpaper and 'knick-knack' sections. It's October now and they are setting up the Christmas Shop - great selection of lights usually. Worth a visit.

Waited 15 minutes for someone to come and advise me on some tiles. 2 calls were put out. Had to put 20 17kg boxes onto a trolley then outside put them on a smaller one as it wouldn't go through the bollards to the car park. 2 staff members watched me then walked away.
