  B&Q one of the few outlets still stocking UK made electrical accessories namely MK. Too many outlets selling cheap and nasty EU manufactured electrical accessories far from the UK standards. (Sockets, Switches etc of many sorts, to British standards the UK has been making for longer than most of us remember and not just a short while having found that the European systems were well below par).. they jumped on the wagon whilst telling the world they were the best.

  An excellent stocked DIY super store. They are a part of the company that owns Screwfix on the industrial estate

  Went in sat to get a pressure washer and the one I wanted you didn't have in stock. 3 very helpful staff members helped us out and as I was in a hurry to get one told me where i could get it. I was having a bad day and with your staff's help I managed to get my day back on track. Unfortunately for you that ment I had to get the washer in another store ( I'm told it was ur sister company) you may have lost a sale but you have gained a customer who will be going to b and q more often. I wanted to write an email direct to your sore but couldn't find ur email adress on your web site. So I hope u see this. Thanks again. Mike

  Its awful. They kept me waiting for a code whilst serving others, then the checkout girl walked off without saying a word. Badly run store with dirty toilets and rude staff. Best avoided.

  Well laid out and pretty easy to find what you want.. there is usually someone at the door to great or assist you and send you in the right direction.. I have seen people being chaperoned to what they want, too.. well done B&Q.. some of us need a chaperone.. *TIP*.. could do with a chair to sit down occasionally, placed randomly around the shop.. its a trek with the Mrs...
