  Amazing food. Great choices for all diets. Staff are friendly and service was speedy even though it was really busy

  Seats are comfortable . Staff are very kind and friendly. It doesn’t take long for them to serve the food either . It’s a brilliant place definitely go there again !

  So a addendum follows: 1st review "Good fare marred only by lack of manners of some customers and staff.... Let me finish before you start moving new people into my seat." Supplement "Well back again, lots of people queued staff trying very hard. Food good improvement over my last visit...."

  Lovely little spot with a great breakfast/brunch menu as well as baked goods. It's not the biggest and can get quite busy but the wait is worth it. They also have another location a few doors down for a quicker bite to eat.

  Absolutely amazing place for brunch! It’s super busy and I think you must almost always have to wait for a table but it’s worth it! The coffee is good, the service is good and the food is amazing! I of course had the pancakes and they were absolutely delicious! My husband had the scrambled egg and enjoyed that too. We even went back the next day to get one of their yummy cakes and brownies to eat on our train journey home! Definitely try here when you’re in York!
