  Very good experience much better than previous bridal shops we had visited, we were welcomed, offered refreshments and never seemed hurried. Our assistant Libby was excellent.

  After seeing the great service my friend had here when buying her wedding dress, this was my first choice for getting my own. After booking an appointment, I was sent a survey to let them know what I was looking for. On my first visit, they'd picked loads of dresses for me, and I ended up getting one I wouldn't even have thought of. The staff are excellent at knowing which styles suit which body shapes, and they listened to what I wanted. Subsequent fitting was equally as good. Customer service has been brilliant throughout. As well as wedding dresses, their range of prom and bridesmaid dresses is stunning.

  Everyone at Brides of Southampton was really friendly and put me at ease. I had an appointment with Bo, who worked out what I wanted even when I couldn't articulate it myself (and was very patient with me!). She then went the extra mile to find a dress (in the sale!) that almost fit my specifications, and pin it up to show me how it could be transformed to make my dream dress. It's still a project at the moment but I'm very excited about it.

  Gemma has been absolutely fantastic every time I've been to Brides. After I had problems with another company, she was there ready to help me with everything I needed. From buying the dress, hoop and veil, she has gone out of her way to help over and beyond anything I could have expected and her wonderful bubbly personality made the experience so much more special and fun for me.
