::Clean and comfortable price was good only one fault, the wake up call never happened and we didn't have time for drink and breakfast.

::Room was ok, nice & warm, foyer was cold with many customers eating meals in the restaurant with their coats on. Service was shocking.

::Old hotel with old rooms. Bad windows letting noise and cold into the room. Nice staff. Long opened restaurant with quite good food altough when we ordered steaks it appeared that they run out of them and there was only one left. We had to order fish and chips as well. The fish was cooked from frozen and wasn't the best fish ever eaten. Steak was bit hard and rubbery. In general value for money but it could have been better.

::The hotel is nicely presented inside, despite the somewhat dark and outdated appearance on the outside. The rooms are of a decent size, are clean and tidy and our room included 2 comfortable chairs and a table for relaxing. The on-site restaurant is a little out of date with a strange selection of colours on the walls including white, mint green, burgundy and one single strip of brick pattern wallpaper. The lights also needed some attention, as all through the meal they were all flickering and flashing. The deal we got included breakfast and a 3 course evening meal. The choices for the evening meal were a little limited compared to the main menu, but nice all the same. The serving staff disappeared after the main course, so dessert took an age to get. Ideal hotel for onward travel from Manchester airport, or a single night stopover if going for a day/night out in Manchester. Perfectly located straight off the M60 within easy reach of the airport, the city and the Trafford Centre. Free on-site car parking is available and seems plentiful enough, even with their offer of 15-day parking for holiday goers.

::Worked here as hotel housekeeper 40 years ago. Reception area has changed greatly, not necessarily for the better but staff were friendly and very helpful. Only saw one bedroom which was clean and tidy. Lacked the Trust Houses Forte finesse to detail. Lift and corridors looked a little tired. House of hotel needs an uplift and welcoming touch. Room rates were very pleasing, which probably reflected in the hotel decor. We had a bar meal of fish and chips which was ok and filling but not great. The waiter and bar staff were both extremely pleasant, professional and very friendly. Other members of my party thought the total very pleasant and an ideal stop over for airport. I was maybe comparing it too much with days gone by. Lovely to trip down memory lane though.
