  Nice place. Friendly staff. Nice food. Clean and tidy. Rushed out at the end of the night though.

  I was a visitor to Cambuslang where my daughter lives and wanted to watch Arsenal's game on 5 April on BT Sport which my daughter doesn't have. She recommended The Burnside Hotel so I phoned there to check that they had BT Sport and was assured that I could watch the game there. My daughter drove me there but on my arrival golf was being shown and the staff were not prepared to change channel. Only when I pointed out tthat only 2 patrons appeared to be watching it and they, too, wished to see the football did the staff concede to our wishes. We were onljy, however, allowed to hear the commentary in the first half of the match because a Quiz Night was taking place during the second half. To further spoil my evening the bar didn't stock any of my favourite malts nor my favourite blended whisky - The Famous Grouse (not actually named after ME!). I settled for pints of my favourite beer and only had one whisky, Johnny Walker Black Label, the best of a bad bunch, in my humble opinion. Anyway, one small consolation which may take me back there was that I enjoyed some good 'crack' with a couple of your punters. Finally, (thank goodness says you) I am just short of 100 percent certain that the old £1 coin with which I unwittingly attempted to use as part payment for my last round was actually given me as change THERE for an earlier order.

  Had my nanas wake here. Felt rushed and servers were not really attentive or there. Had to go looking around different bars to get served
