  I was very disappointed the last time I visited Caffyns Volkswagen Brighton. The Customer service was shocking and virtually nonexistent. The prime focus is on selling cars to new customers, if you are an existing customer I would highly recommend that you use another garage for service etc. I was shocked by the lack of knowledge and customer service and won’t bother returning to Caffyns as I get a better, more friendly and knowledgeable service fro my local independent garage in Brighton. Just because this is a VW garage, doesn’t mean that it’s any good. In fact I would go as far as to say don’t bother!

  I have been a customer at Caffyns in Portslade for over 10 years. The staff are almost always helpful and professional, although I would recommend talking over any work suggested with the mechanics wherever possible to get a direct view of the urgency and options. There have been occasional problems, but in every case these have been dealt with quickly and professionally. I have never been asked to pay for work that was not needed, costs are discussed as the job progresses if there are any changes. If you book in work in good time they can usually offer a replacement car or collection/drop off which is a very welcome service. And if you are waiting, there is free hot chocolate and TV in the comfortable customer waiting area. I have no hesitation in recommending Caffyns, for car purchase and MOT/servicing. I am always confident that the mechanical work is done to the highest standard.

  I purchased a Golf 1.4 hatchback on the 16/01/2018 From Caffyns, Victoria Road, Portslade, Brighton. I cannot praise them highly enough. Vance Avery, the salesman was very professional and the handover was perfect. He ran through the controls and left me confidant about the vehicle. Since collecting the car I have achieved 50 mpg. I an very impressed. Dan the service manager has also been very kind and has instilled a confidence in me regarding after sales service. When I walk into the dealership I am offered a coffee and assistance. Great, you have it perfect Caffyns. Keep it up.

  I decided to edit this review based on today's visit. I booked a visit to test drive the new Golf GTE. The Sales Manager was brilliant. He explained the functionality of the car beforehand and whilst we were test driving. Afterward he explained the options. His 'can-do' attitude combined with great product knowledge helped sell the car to me. My next car will be a VW and will be from Caffyns
