Great little modern railway station, also on the Cambridgeshire Busway

This could and should be such a good station. The timetabling doesn't make any sense. Sometimes it's necessary to make the 5 minute journey to Cambridge to wait 25 minutes to get a connection to London. Or wait while watching other london trains speed through the station. Come on Greater Anglia/Great northern/cross country. You can sort this out so it's actually convenient for your customers. I know you can. And then you'd have a busy station with less people like me going from Chesterton across to Cambridge central to avoid lengthy connection times.

This station has it's detractors but I like it and use it a lot. Bit nervous about bike park so have taken to taking bike on train. Lifts to platforms. A word to the wise. Don't use the middle ticket machine. The tickets don't work in the barriers and you end up having to get staff to let you through, which they do happily but it slows you down. There was a great bike powered espresso bar outside but not seen it recently.

Station is just great, ticket machines are difficult to use, will book online in future. Shame that Stagecoach service N does not pickup along Milton Rd, what high paid graduate dreamt up that plan. Because of this station I am using system more. Once minor issues are rectified life may be brilliant, 6 stars.

Not impressed on first time using this station. Appreciate there were problems on the day, but several trains shot past without stopping. So obviously missing it's potential, not much point in relying on using it. Bus would've been quicker.
