  Aside from the fact that the good Dr. undervalues the knowledge available on the Internet (the irony is, I found this wonderful little practice via Google Maps!), this inner city vet has it all. A very kind and friendly receptionist, 2 dedicated parking spaces around the corner from the front door (a major plus when your pet can't walk far, and is too big to carry), a daily drop-in clinic as well as scheduled appointment times, in-office or in-home visits (or even in-vehicle, since in our case, the Dr. came and saw to our dog in our van, where I'd parked around the corner). The vet was very opinionated (about the dangers of Internet research, mainly, since I came in with my own ideas about what our dog's problem might be) but also had a very straightforward and forthcoming manner, which I liked. If you want someone with experience and a no-nonsense approach, who seems to intuitively know what he's doing, this is the vet for you. He was very nice with our dog. Together with his kind receptionist to balance things out in the people skills department, it's the perfect professional team. Very pleased that the infamous WWW guided me here. ;)
