::Really, so unbelievably disappointed with service here. It took two months for them to admit they had charged me £30 for two lost rolls of black and white 35mm film, after I had repeatedly called them and queried. They proceeded to blame me, but in fact they had failed to give me a receipt and then did nothing about the rolls they had lost. Do not trust this venue, they will lose your images, get your images developed elsewhere. I do not see a way to respond to the owner, but this is my whole point. You and your staff failed to give me a ticket in the first place, despite me pointing this out. I have not lost it, it was the incompetence of your staff.

::This place charges extortionate amounts of money and does not have proper consideration for customers. Prior to making my purchase for a battery which was not available in the original shop I visited, I was advised to try Campkins. I was actually carrying out an errand for a friend so purchased the battery for £40 thinking that if it was wrong I could be reimbursed. (I am fully aware of the law in this regard) My friend was astonished at the price and made the purchase online at less than half the price. I later returned to this shop with the product still intact and the receipt in my hand only to be offered a credit note. (This was absolutely no use to me) There was no flexibility in their ‘company policy’ and I was appalled Prior to being served myself I also overheard quotes for transferring camcorder tapes to a memory stick. Their prices are more than double that of the photographers in the town where I live. (Also a family run business) I would not use this shop or recommend it to anyone

::Visited a couple of times whilst on vacation in Cambridge - needed a lens cap and came out with that and Billingham camera bag! - which I am very pleased with. Good knowledgeable service - able to sell without being pushy - a lost art i think. I would definitely return if I lived closer.

::I had an issue with the automatic shutter on my camera. It was only the third day into an extended vacation. Therefore, I was relying on my camera for the rest of the trip. I had seen this shop on King's parade the day before. I thought I would see if they could fix it. They were willing to try, and it now works perfectly!
