  We stopped in here for lunch and had the most amazing fish and chips.we had a walk around afterwards beautiful place they do afternoon tea in the library and what I think is the drawing room so going back for that😊the gardens where lovely and could imagine they will be stunning in the summer we will definitely be back

  Attended a family wedding. Rooms were lovely and spacious. Food was lovely. All the staff were very helpful.

  Stayed in this beautiful Castle like Mansion for a stunning wedding under the big tree at the rear of the venue. Service was excellent, rooms were great, little bit of a rabbit warren getting to rooms but such a nice place. 5 Stars

  Wonderful festive stay, warm welcome, pleasant friendly and very efficient. Hotel is very clean and stylish period decor, adorned with antique style and has two fantastic library rooms and other chill out snugs. Suite was perfect and had upstairs bathroom, bed enticingly comfy and pillows soft as cloud. Even my sleep app said I’d had the most deep sleep ever recorded! One downside is breakfast not at the rest of hotel standards ie over cooked eggs, limited choice, no kippers . Evening meal highly recommended a little limited which isn’t a criticism but disappointed no game on the menu except duck which was slightly overdone. Can’t wait to revisit perhaps again over a festive break...👏🏻 Thank you. Overall I’m in love and grateful to the owners vision of a family feel elegant hotel. .....that delivers.

  Cozy castle in the country side about 20 min from downtown Edinburgh. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Would recommend to everyone that doesn't mind a short drive to town
