::I was amazed at the cleanliness of this station, but Carlisle in general was amazing, everywhere is lovely and clean. unlike some stations I never saw anybody dossing down for a sleep or people begging they can make you feel very intimidating. Plenty of staff around to assist you and all very helpful and friendly, a really lovely station. I visited Carlisle again this week and the stationlooks lovely, they have really thought things through and the results are very affective. Plenty of seating but did not see many for people with disabilities. Staff are warm, friendly and helpful. Only one problem, no left luggage facilities.

::Very friendly staff, good station facilities, a nice warm & toasty waiting room with Sockets for chargers. And of course, a brilliant place to trainspott!

::A grand station with a high standard of cleanliness and an army of knowledgable, friendly and vigilant staff. Railway hub connecting 5 railway routes and serving 6+ TOCs daily.
Sara Collier
::Nice old station undergoing some renovation work at the moment. Bar and shop on site with a Costa just outside. Toilets are free.

::Carlisle Station is in the heart of the city centre. It has friendly and helpful staff, plenty of passenger trains from different companies with good connections to the main cities of London, Newcastle, Glasgow and Manchester. Whilst you're waiting around there's refreshments and shops to keep you going. The architecture of the station is fantastic. For trainspotters, railtours and freight trains may turn up. Best to check before making a visit!
