::Had an sales assistant named Angelina who helped and guided me through the selling of my phone without any fuss or hassle and with a little humour.I hope she gets rewarded in some way brilliant service unlike other mobile providers in the fort shopping park.

::Store is good and staff are pleasant, but there is no point in having a phone number that plays Thunderclap Newman for five minutes then goes to a fax machine. The irony of this for a phone shop is not lost on me...

::I tried to purchase a Samsung Galaxy S7 here a few days after launch. I asked an assistant if they had stock of both the Black Onyx and Gold Platinum and was informed that they had plenty of both (my fiancΓ©e and I were both planning to buy one). The sales assistant was eager to help, however as soon I asked to confirm the SIM-free price I was informed (with a sharp intake of breathe and a shaking head) that they probably wouldn't have any in stock. The stock level dropped from "plenty" to "none" in the space of a few seconds. The assistant spoke to their colleagues to confirm that there would be no stock available for SIM-free sales then returned to me to confirm that I would have to wait a couple of days for a unit to be shipped from elsewhere. It seemed clear to me that staff were targeted (or paid commission on) new contracts, which carry a much higher average revenue per user (ARPU), much more heavily than sales of SIM-free stock. When I confronted the employee about the fact it seemed that he just wanted to save the stock for new contracts he got flustered and walked away. I bought the phone at Argos, across the street, who had plenty of SIM-free stock available and were free from incentivisation on contract sales. This is the last time I try to buy anything from Carphone Warehouse.
