    A very poorly run, rip off company *In response to the below* Charles Perret, The review I made online was my first negative review on Google excluding the one I deleted in October at your request. The review is not a way to deface the company in anyway or start aggressive dialogue. It is for a few issues that I haven't experienced with any other letting agencies in Swansea. After waiting for 7 months for blinds to be put up in my room so the street light doesn't come through all night. "I am emailing to say that the landlord has authorised for new blinds to be fitted in room 3 and I am just waiting for them to come in then I will schedule the work in. They have also given the go ahead to get the meters changed, are you able to do this or would you like the landlord to do it?" This email was sent in October, the blinds have never been put up. Moreover, our garden has still not been cut even though we have contacted you constantly for over 9 months. Our rent is for all the property and it would have been nice to enjoy the garden a bit more. There have been lots of other issues relating to individual rooms, and we have invested in heaters and dehumidifiers which are not cheap. These were brought to counteract the mould and damp in the property. When I emailed for an extension for the second inspection I was greeted with a 'no'. It took a lot of effort just to get a two day extension after maintenance that has been due for months has not been performed. I thought this was unfair, as it is well known that students were on an Easter break. You are correct that the bins outside are not acceptable and the review has nothing to do with that. I also find that the Charles Perret staff are very nice when they come round, but I feel there is a lot of talk about doing things but not much doing. We are almost at the end of our tenancy now and I just feel like tenants should be treated with the same respect as you would give the landlords. I may be wrong but it just seems that we are money that comes and goes each year and that's it. Although I appreciate you have lots of properties on your books. Your personal response is further testament to the low regard in which you appear to hold for your tenants; thus I will be upholding my review. It is sad but understandable that you have withdrawn the 2 day extension, obviously I don't want my house mates to have to cover the cost as it was my review that caused you to take it away. I will cover the cost myself, but would like a receipt and name of the cleaning company before their job has taken place so I know that we are getting value for money.     Would give it zero stars, absolute sham of a company always lying and takes months of consistent nagging for them to do the simplest of tasks, will try to get money from you in anyway they can even if it means making up problems. Avoid at all costs!

    Charles Perrett Property Ltd have been an exemplary and professional agent for me for several years. They conduct all aspects of their business with courtesy and kindness and nothing has ever been too much trouble. I feel very fortunate to have such a reliable and fair company looking after my Swansea property and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone needing an Agent in that area. They are worth their weight in gold (or surfboards!).
