::I would like to thank the nurse Lisa (I hope I remembered her name correctly) who saw me at the reception trying to get an appointment because a deep cut I had in my hand and she came and offered to see it despite the fact that she wasn't working at that moment. She advised me and her advice was a spot on as my wound has been fully recovered since then.

::Well run large practice. Wonderful GP and pharmacy on site. Appointments available the same day if you are flexible about who you see

::Best GP practice I've been to in years. Appointments always available (I use the online system) and can get an emergency appointment if needed over the phone. I have a fairly long list of repeat medications and the surgery always dispatch them to my pharmacy as quickly as possible. There have been occasions where I was late ordering my prescriptions and the surgery have always been really good in turning them around quickly. The doctors and nurses are friendly during appointments and are really efficient with the service they provide. The surgery can get busy during peak times and often there are not enough receptionists, but this is true of any doctors surgery. Great work Charter Medical Centre!

::Unfortunately over the years my prescriptions have come to my local pharmacy more and more infrequent. I made sure to order the scripts a good week before collection. I cared for my late partner for the last 12 years of her life, and if my medication wasn't available (sometimes waiting another 1-2 days on top of the due date then it was much more difficult on both of us. I injured my back in my late teens and over quite a number of years I have received some PIP. To be fair I have no qualms with the any of the staff, but the past week has been more than irksome. NO SCRIPT on Monday-I had a phone consultation the Thursday before. NO SCRIPT Tuesday (I currently need a weekly script) and then after complaining..today being now Thursday I received a letter asking to move to a closer practice forth with! The joke being I NO LONGER was in there catchment area. I moved home 7 years ago. NOT RECENTLY. Well I'll miss the girls who man the desks. I decided 7 years ago to stick with the Charter, because I loved going there. Times have changed and my benefit is finding a practice closer to me. I hope I have set a clear balance on my review.
