  My gas boiler died on Christmas Eve. After British Gas tried and failed, we got a personal recommendation for Chris. He came out promptly and offered a ceiling price. In the end he had to do more work than replace the boiler, but still managed to undercut his estimate by £100. He was friendly, helpful and gave clear explanations, listening to our views. He discussed other work that we might want to consider, but did only what was needed and didn't push. I am very pleased with the results and the way in which he worked. I am very happy to recommend him to anyone who needs a Gas Safe plumber and heating engineer.
