::Apart from the bar costs this is a great film theatre experience but yesterday we fell victim to a staff member who appeared cranky and was quite rude to us....it was bizarre. We were even told it was 'sad' for us arriving 15 minutes early. We were extremely polite but she clearly had some 'bee in her bonnet' and was quite happy to maul a good customer, no matter how cooperative we tried to be...Perhaps it was some kind of superior, dry wit....who knows?

::Definitely my favourite place in Norwich for watching films. It's great that you can buy a bottle of wine with your ticket and take it in with you (other alcoholic drinks are available). The building itself has a lot of character too and the attached restaurant is good as well.

::Amazing food really friendly welcoming service. The pigs cheeks and vegetable stew were delicious and the wine selection was great. Great value for such a delicious high quality menu

::Without a doubt, this is my favourite cinema in Norwich. Cinema City offers a great mixture of mainstream film and arts films. You can even ask them to show a film of your choice if you can gather sufficient interested people. The venue itself, in an old church, is fabulous; full of interesting little corners and with a lovely cafe/bar downstairs for pre- or post-film drinks and nibbles. There's a great courtyard garden to sit out in too. It's right in the city, and very close to St Andrew's car park, so easy to get to. Another great plus is that the seats in the cinemas themselves are REALLY comfortable! In my experience, the staff are always lovely too - very friendly and approachable. In an age of giant multiplexes which all look the same, this cinema will give you the genuine old school cinema experience; an evening out to see a film here is always just that little bit special.

::You just can't beat this cinema. Set in a beautiful building, the audio is good in each screen, seats are comfy and and well spaced. I love that you can take wine etc in with you. The bar is wonderful and had a great range of drinks. I've had good and bad experiences in the restaurant but on the whole it's good. All of the staff are great, really friendly and helpful. The range of films they show is awesome too.
