  Poor customer service in store..only 1 person on the shop floor, so waiting around for what seemed ages. I'd ordered something online and then forgot about them. The invoice said if not collected in two weeks, they'd be sent back to the warehouse and refund issued. 2months later no refund. Called H/O told items still in store. Went in, tried items, didn't like them and was told I couldn't have refund!! My argument was had someone In store done their job in the first instance and sent the items back, I'd have been refunded over month ago. Got my refund in the end but had to see the manager and argue my case. Expect more from Clarks!!

  I always buy shoes at clarks in Stratford. Last week I discovered that I have clarks near my house. However the customer service in this shop was awful!!! They didn't say even THANK YOU after I spent £200!!!!!!!

  Worst Clarks ever. I live near it, have been in several times over the past 3 yrs for toddler shoes and shoes for me. The staff have never lived up to expectations, reluctantly measuring my daughter after me having to ask them, despite us browsing shoes for ages, there was no offer of help. The choice of shoes is also very limited. Last week I tried to get shoes for myself, I am a size 8-8.5 and have wide feet. I selected 6 styles and asked to try them in an 8 or 9, to be told the store doesn't stock size 9. Then they only have 2 of the pairs in stock in a size 8, both narrow fit, so am left with nothing that even remotely fits. I request they order in a size 9 for me to try on, but am told they can only do that if I pay for them first. The staff really were reluctant to sell me anything. How this store remains open is beyond me.
