  Shame it wasn't bigger really! 😂 But they do stock some good Vegan own branded stuff and the staff are nice.

  Friendly staff and good hours, the only downside is being a small store the stock can be 'variable' :-)

  Unfortunately the Co-op has pretty much a monopoly on local convenience stores in Saltdean, Telscombe and Peacehaven. I love the idea of their ethical approach but they seem to run their stores like those tiny shops you had on caravans parks in the 70s. Stock control seems to be completely unheard off with endless lines out of stock when you go in but the killer is how many lines always have "Still Fresh" plastered all over every items or "Goes out of date today" in less marketing speak. Grim quality own brand produce adds insult to injury. How they survive amazes me. Ever time i pop in I'm saddened they haven't been bought out by Sainsburys or Tesco...

  Big thank you for all the kindness as i locked myself from my mates house.The staff in a store looked after me,given me a hot drink and let me stay inside the store whilst i waited for my mate to return from Broghton.He dint not find his keys but hopefully they could be with bus company.He did have to pay a lot cash to get in.Thank you so much to all the staff in Co op Saldean you where awesome.Eva

  They don't accept valid national EU ID card?! Is that some kind of discrimination? I mean I used it to enter the country, to open a UK bank account, to vote in local UK and European elections but I can't use it in the shop to prove my age?!! And the cashier was not nice at all!
