  My husband and I went for a couple of days for our 35th wedding anniversary. The staff were friendly, welcoming and warm. The room we had was clean, warm and comfortable, the welcoming tray had a good choice of tea, coffee,hot chocolate and bottled water.The breakfast was superb and cooked how we liked it. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff the only thing my husband would have liked to have seen that they didn't have was local beer being served either on tap or in bottles.We will definitely visit again.

  Just what we were after for an overnight stay - great value for money and conveniently located. The room was nicely furnished and a very comfortable stay. Good service and a delicious breakfast. I would recommend.

  Beautiful food, ideal place to stop off at after after a walk from Upper/lower slaughter. lovely pint of Aspall cider

  Probably the worst service we've had at a pub restaurant - ever. The food was not nice, overpriced and the staff have an awful attitude. If you want a good meal here, i would advise looking around the carpark for old, half-eaten sandwiches, it's better than what you'll find inside.
