::Incredibly bad queues every time I go, and the staff are usually very grumpy (however there is one member of staff who is generally very cheery). Would not recommend!

::It's conveniently located, with a range of services. If you need to post a parcel, you can do so pretty painlessly provided you've packaged your parcel and labelled it properly, already know what you want (type of shipment, etc.) and payment ready. If you need help with anything, you're likely to get it with a huff (or not get it at all) like others have said. Don't confuse this with the attached pharmacy! They're pretty nice.

::I moved to Bristol six years ago, and for a while I thought that all post offices in the UK were horrible. Then I discovered it's only this one. The service is incredibly rude and slow. This is not only because the place is small and busy, but also because the staff does seem very reluctant to actually do their job. Once you reach the counter they seem to be actually more interested in making rude comments, telling you off, and chatting among themselves than accepting your parcel. I go to the Galleries post office now. It means going down into the centre but much friendlier and more efficient.

::So this is now my local post office. I’ve been selling online for over ten years so I use tee post office most days and this is the first time I’ve actually avoided using a post office near to me. I’m always polite, friendly and considerate as part of my nature. I’m shocked when I’m treated as if I’m a nuisance by the company who provide the exact service I need. It’s like they’ve forgotten they’re a post office when I turn up with post!!! They often don’t acknowledge you and if they do it’ll be with rude snappy remarks. The ONLY nice member of staff in this PO is the woman who I believe may be the manager. God knows why the rest are allowed to work here! I’ve had actual uncalled for bitchy comments made to me by the other woman and I make a planned effort to go well out of my way when I can to use the Gloucester Road post office as they’re LOVELY and really efficient too. At Cotham Hill I’m always charged for parcels when I KNOW it’s a large letter (10 years of packaging items I KNOW what works and doesn’t!) and I I take my items any where else there is never an issue. Actually shocked to be treated so appallingly that if I didn’t still on occasion have to use this place then I’d ask who to make a formal complaint to! I NEVER whinge but I’m glad to see others on here who feel the same. I’ll just carry on being OVER friendly every time I go in there. Not sure what else to do haha!

::Can't see what all these people's problem is. Sure you have to wait sometimes. The staff are always nice enough to me; perhaps it's because I am civil to them and don't use the anonymity of the internet to write things that I'd never say to their face. Or perhaps the complainants would. Maybe that's the problem?
