::A conveniently located hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Great food and bar. Comfy rooms and bed. Extremely powerful showers that I never wanted to get out of! My room was suitable for old people as it had handles but the toilet and bath as well as having the red emergency pull cords. Only reason not 5 starts is the major lack of plug sockets in the room (Only 3), the kettle was in one, TV in the other and there was only one other for charging phone's and running anything else.

::Nice little hotel, good food, stayed due to going to a wedding. The room are a little dates and could do with spring up but very clean and comfortable. Nice Queen Anne bed. Downside, bedrooms away from the reception and you had to walk outside to get to them. (pretty chilly in the winter it was ringing and windy). We would however use this hotel again.

::Today we have had Sunday lunch two of us had Turkey and one the Trio roast. The plates were full and the food was full of flavour we also had two bowls of Cauliflower Cheese which was lovely too. These meals were value for money and we would definitely recommend it to our friends. The staff were very friendly and helpful - thank you 🙂.

::I had the seafood grill which was delicious and cooked to perfection. And the millionaire cheesecake was heaven on a plate. I did come close to licking the plate when I'd eaten it. My partner had the slow cooked pork belly which looked delicious and, apparently, was delicious. So was the sticky toffee pudding. The staff were very apologetic about us having to sit in the bar, our fault, we hadn't booked. The sign of a good eatery is a full restaurant, and it is a very good eatery. Highly recommended.

::Conveniently located hotel with basic meeting room facilities and a beautiful wooden beamed restaurant. The manager was absolutely lovely and welcomed me when I arrived in the middle of the night, sorting me out with a hot chocolate, extra duvet and a heater when the windows wouldn't close. Good menu throughout the day. The place is very dated with single-glazed windows, peeling wallpaper and mattresses that dig into your back when you lay on them, and if you're unlucky enough to find yourself in Room 9, you might find yourself kept awake all night with the vibration of the pipes/extractor fans causing the bedroom light to vibrate and sound like a huge motor is in your room (unscrewing the light cover helped overcome this one, which I had to work out for myself after the elderly night porter refused to remain in the room of a lone female in her twenties to sort out the problem!). The showers are fantastic, though, with a very strong water pressure perfect for washing long hair! Probably a hotel to stay at during the warmer months because come November, the bedrooms and meeting rooms are impossible to maintain warmth.
