::This recently changed to the Crowne Plaza and used to be the Holiday Inn. I attended as part of a conference and felt that the facilities were lacking compared to previous years. Many delegates sat in coats due to the temperature and even after asking for it to be increased it took 3 hours to notice the difference. Refreshments were lacking as if you were not at the front of the queue you had to look for a cup. Hopefully the rooms are of a better quality.

::Visited yesterday for a team meeting. 10 people in the team, we had a good sized room with free hot and cold refreshments. Great to see lots of AV equipment and connections and a 55" touchscreen display. Ample parking spaces for free if you register your car at the reception. There's a big shopping centre opposite the hotel with a variety of restaurants for those who wish to have a meal away from the hotel.

::Lisa on reception was very helpful to accommodate us. I had a booking for 4 rooms, plus we had a suite booked for the bride and groom along with an additional 2 rooms. Lisa managed to arrange for our rooms to all be close together. Our booking was then amended due to one person not being able to attend. Richard who was the night porter on the Saturday night was really nice and helpful. Unfortunately for him he had to deal with some of us in the reception area until 4am, although I'm sure we entertained him a little. He ensured we had everything we needed and was able to accommodate for us to have breakfast and late check out on the Sunday. I would defiantly stay again as the staff couldnt do any more for us!

::Gorgeous hotel and lovely little extras in the room. My room was very spacious and luxurious. The staff were really helpful when I arrived as I had taken over other people’s bookings which meant I had 2 different rooms which they managed to change to 1room for my 2night stay. They were also very helpful when my room key stopped working a couple of times. The only thing I don’t understand is why breakfast is more expensive when paying at the restaurant than paying at reception when the menu is exactly the same and so is the service. I would definitely stay again.
