  Cheaper than halfords both parts and repairs and a wider range of custom standard and specialist parts. Also have better and more tools so can do complex jobs such as bottom bracket changes fitting and pressing headset much more knowledgeable than well known bike stores. Been going there years a good old family run honest business. Very helpful. Very polite welcoming staff

  If you want good, helpful, old-fashioned service then go to Cycleman. They have a wealth of knowledge and experience and can find just about anything cycle related you could ever need. Service charges are very reasonable and on Saturdays they are almost always done that day, and it's usually easy to park nearby. Use shops like this before they disappear for good. So what if something costs a bit more there than online, they have to pay rent,rates,wages,tax,insurance,electric,recycling, and keep the local economy going. No internet firm can mend your bike so use bike shops or they will not survive and then nobody will do your repairs.

  Over priced, out if date and complete lack of skill in modern bike repairs. I would ask what professional qualifications they have if they qualified any time this century.
