  David lloyd have spent alot of money updating this gym but the pool is near Baltic in temperature. This needs working on! Also I had an issue a few months back listening to the lifeguards ogle and sexually objectify a fellow female swimmer. Quite disgusting behaviour from a profession that surely is very used to the undressed female form.

  Lovely gym with enough space and equipment that you don't have to wait around. The updated wet changing room is tastefully fitted with plenty of good sized lockers and even has a hair dryer that performed to a level my fussy fiancee was happy with. The star of the show here for me was undoubtedly the pool/ hydrotherapy area which offers a very relaxing environment, after a work-out, aided by the tropical climate making it the perfect place to get away from the cold.

  Terrible terrible customer service. Just cancelled my membership after not going for months as we have just had a baby and received a threatening email with debt reclamation threats for an extra months premium I won’t use. Spoke to very unhelpful staff. Was going to go back to this gym but not now.

  Very poor customer service for the high cost you pay to come here. Have been a continuous member three times over seven years, only stopping when going travelling. Never paid a joining fee before, £50 is alot but fine providing you get a decent level of service in return (which sadly you don't). It would have been nice if they informed us they were carving up areas of the building before joining as we aren't getting what we are paying for each month. Change is good but it is not great charging a premium for low quality. I would have held off joining for a while or they simply could not charge a ridiculous fee for joining. My surname was something completely different on the direct debit form I was given compared to the membership form I had literally just filled in. My gym card name also had another surname. I had to email twice to chase up my guest pass. No answer. I queried it at reception. It was then written on a scrap of paper ready for my guest visit. Surprise surprise it wasn't ready even four days later. Even after writing down the name and email again it wasn't correct so have been unable to access the online service for classes etc. Not entirely sure why I rejoined to be honest. However the opening hours are good and handy if you work long hours. The gym floor and pool staff are very good. As are the cleaners who maintain a high standard allover the building which is an achievement considering the 3rd world condition of the showers.

  Gyms looking past its best which should be the focal point of the facility yet the bar is the first thing to be updated?? Also aircon non existent, struggling to workout in the heat, also water now coming out luke warm. Thinking memebership best spent elsewhere.
