  No indoor tennis facilities at this David Lloyd , Only 6 external tennis courts in total and temp covers blow down a lot. The lighting on court should be brighter, and is not turned on until a player or coach request; not ideal if you are playing a match. A very good but limited rackets program is available for all ages and ability's. In the winter months booking one of the 4 covered courts is a challenge, you need to book well in advance. If you book one of the 2 out side courts and rain cancels play, booking privileges can be penalised. Tennis club facilities are poor in comparison with other David Lloyd clubs. National website and marketing does not represent this club. A good size indoor swimming pool along side a warm toddler splash pool, (no external swimming pools). The gym is spacious and well maintained with up to date equipment. Changing room could be cleaner and showers need updating. I don't do any classes, so I can't review.

  The management of DL locally and nationally is not interested in promoting tennis in the city of Peterborough. Single layered bubbles are not strong enough to withstand current weather conditions. It is fortunate for DL that there is no local competition otherwise they would have to up their game. The only upgrade since DL took over was the cafe. Shower and locker room tired and smelly. Shower glass shattered yesterday and 2 members were taken to hospital. No hot water in the shower. No one informed us and kids were freezing after there swimming lesson. Membership fees are on the increase although the club manager promised no hikes. He said: " we at DL take care of our existing members". What a load of ....

  DO NOT use or join this gym!!!! I joined and after three months due to family circumstances had to re locate to look after a family member who is ill, explained to the gym up front and the Manager i need to cancel a very serious matter has arrised and i have to move....i am then threatened with bailiffs and court with the remanding contract fees, i have been hounded with calls from the club (charging me for a service that i am not using, payed my memebership upto the last day i left so they have not lost anything or i have not used their services for free) DO NOT join this club, they are disgraceful how the treat members!!!!!

  Was Virgin Active gym and racquet club until end of 2017. Has since undergone a refurbishment including a fabulous kids area in the club lounge complete with mini soft play and tablets for them to play on. Pool area has main pool which is usually split into three lines, plus a kids pool with complimentary floats and toys for little ones. There is also steam, sauna and jacuzzi available for adults. They offer a wide variety of classes, personal trainers are available, however the gym staff are always really helpful whether you’re a newbie or a regular. Yummy food but not cheap from the lounge area.

  My family has been signed up for a month now and I am loving David Lloyd gym. All the staff at Peterborough are exceptional. The Crèche staff are amazing both my girls aged 3 and 10 love going to the Crèche always activities and fun times. All the gym coaches are friendly knowledgeable and very approachable. The facilities are so good and there's always someone cleaning literally constantly, This gym is incredibly well maintained by the cleaners which for me is important. One member of staff has stood out for my family and that's the lifeguard he is very friendly and just goes that extra mile!. I haven't tried Classes to date but there is plenty to choose from and I plan on attending soon. Would recommend this gym without hesitation!
