  Brilliant hotel as a stop off location. It's being upgraded to a Ramada and I hope it stays as friendly and well run

  The hotel is undergoing change from days Inn to Ramada. The staff were polite and very helpful, the hotel was clean and a quiet location though it was a £25 Tesco ride to the city centre

  Terrible place! Follow the signs to hotel car park & you find yourself around the back surrounded by metal fencing & no signs showing the way to reception. Very muddy & wet 5 minutes later you are met by a very unfriendly receptionist who thinks all complaints are directed at him personally, yet he won't take responsibility to fix anything. One of our rooms had no toilet seat, but would he move us? No. Would he fix it? No. Would he refund our room? No. He would though throw us out if we kept complaining. Do not stay here!

  Bed not comfy, zero facilities at hotel and no sign posting to get to the services. I once went on a camping trip in 1989 to the lakes, it rained every day, the tent leaked and the car broke down BUT I still had a better time in the lakes than this place.
