::Avoid this company at all costs. I was told I was getting a brand new screen as the seals had perished and water was leaking into my car. As it was a warrant claim it was taken to my local dealership. The dealership where excellent but direct windscreens where appalling. Sent a van out only to be told it was a 2 man job so he couldn't do it. Rebook ed for the next day to be told I was getting a brand new windscreen which they would have to order si they would have to come back. Finally got my car back after a week and was told I had had a brand new screen fitted. I hadn't and after many calls to the dealership and direct windscreens ( who had also told the dealership it was a new screen) it transpires that all they had done was remove the screen fit a new seal and replaced the old screen. Now 3 weeks later I am off to have a new screen fitted by a reputable and trustworthy company. Spoke to the manager Steve who was appalling with his attitude and tone. He was extremely rude. He didn't give 2 hoots about my complaint AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

::I clumsily destroyed my rear windscreen on the way home from work. I called direct windscreens that evening, by the time I delivered my car the following morning they had already taken delivery of the replacement glass. Service was courteous, kind and straight forward. The work was promptly finished to a great standard and the admin was simple. I'm extremely pleased with all of the service I received.

::I don't normally like leaving reviews, but in this circumstance I feel I have to warn the public. If you risk doing business with this company you will find you are fighting more Cowboys than Geronimo, if you suffer from stress or anxiety please please don't risk it. The service my wife got from this company really was beyond belief, they turned up to replace a windscreen in an everyday family car, they had the screen but not the single use fastenings to re-secure the scuttle panel under the bonnet (not that they informed me of this), so the fitter placed a couple of loose screws in 2 of the 4 holes (the ones I saw him battering with a screwdriver (and the said screws look as if they were taken from the air intake above the radiator)) and left the other holes completely empty. Not at any time did the fitter warn me that he had done this, just collected my excess and drove off leaving the job half done. A while later I had the chance to inspect the work and found the issues, badly fitted scuttle panels can lead to water getting into the cabin. I contacted the office, got fobbed off, contacted the office a few hours later, chap on the phone explained it was the offices fault for not giving the fitter the fastenings, no explanation as to why the fitter didn't inform me of the fact or why he had left 2 loose screws in the engine bay. Later that day my insurance company phoned up for feedback, when told the story they were outraged and got onto Direct Windscreens themselves, informed me that I had been put on a priority list and D/W would contact me by tomorrow (Tuesday) morning at the latest. Tomorrow morning comes and goes, no contact. I contact insurance company and 1 hr later D/W contact me informing me they still don't have the fasteners. I inform them of further bodges, they ask me to send an Email with pics which I done within 15 mins asking them to acknowledge receipt as I wasn't sure it was correct email address (given over phone), yes you got it, they couldn't be bothered to acknowledge. They arrive on Friday, the 4 fasteners that were not fitted originally got fitted by what appeared to be a professional but the office bod I had sent the photos to had not bothered informing him of the other issues, which he quickly spotted, took a photo himself and said he would be back in contact. Following Wednesday after my wife had tried to raise them via Email he turned up to repair the damage, unfortunately, due to a total disregard to keeping us informed, the wife had gone to work in the car. Friday, 12 days later the wife got to office site where one of the managers finally repaired the car. Quality of workmanship 0 out of 10 (Quality of repairs - FAIR) Quality of communication 0 out of 10 Would I recommend to a friend NO All in all I think this company is the worst I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with, they appear to have a total disregard to customer service and safety and I can only hope that if they read this review they can and will make the improvements that are so desperately needed so others don't have to endure a similar fate. I am truly sorry that I have felt the need to leave this review.
