  Food is amazing, you should always keep an eye on the specials board, house wine is really good and the owner is very friendly and genuinely interested in his customers, go there a few times and he will start to remember your name. I think the menu does need updating though as it hasn't changed in a long time.

  A 25th Birthday meal for four with ages from 25 to 70 so various starters, main courses and sweets, all of which were superb. A good selection of "real" food, cooked from order so, yes, it takes a little longer but the standard is worth every extra moment. The service? Why does it seem to only be in proper Italian Restaurants that they still have those little touches which make the service so good. Donattello's is perfect example of how service ought to be. Thank you to all the staff and management - a brilliant night had by all

  Not been here for some time and don't think I'll be going back soon. I love supporting local restaurants where possible and usually all is well here. But within two hours after the meal both my friend and I felt sick and took up residence in the toilet.
