  Went in for a drink whilst waiting for a hotel guest. Staff were friendly, service was pretty quick, only downside was the cost, which was pretty hefty. Bar area was clean and tidy.

  Great, central location. Inside it's as you'd expect any Double Tree to be, perfect, modern with attentive staff. Outside the local estate is tired. The spa facilities are great, as was the restaurant; £70 for a family of four to eat. Parking is £5.

  Lovely hotel in convenient location. Staff are friendly and helpful. Some confusion at the restaurant. Took very long to order, some meals not received. Very slow service especially with 6 children. Rooms are some what dated. Courtyard could do with some colour and light, looked very council estate-esque. All in all a good trip. The complimentary cookies are fab!!

  Very good Sunday Carvery. However meat choice limited to pork and beef. Very good service. Recommend to book as it does get busy on a Sunday.

  Stayed there overnight with my family and it was such a nice experience. From the reception staff, who greeted us with warm chocolate cookies (amazingly tasty !) to the spa attendants and the restaurant staff, everyone was nice, attentive and smiling. They made us feel very welcome and completemented so well the cleanliness of the hotel and the food and the spa and everything else. Very,very good experience!
