::I saw the reviews for this place and thought "It can't be that bad, surely it's only the few people that had bad experiences that write a review." I put in a request on their website on Friday morning for my package to be held at the depot for me to collect on Saturday morning before I visited my parents. It was my mother's 60th birthday and the package was her 60th birthday present. The employee who was on shift last thing on Friday had apparently forgotten to leave out all the packages that had been requested for the next morning, leaving myself and another man's parcel locked in one of five lorries, inaccessible to the weekend shift. It sounded like this had happened on more than one occasion before, based on the apologetic employee's discussions with his colleague. 1/5: would not recommend.

::If it were possible to give negatives I would do so. this company is a shambles. sent part of my order to the wrong depot which meant I wasted two hours driving to collect it only to find it wasn't there. Then after several phone calls they promised to send it to my work the next day and didn't. The following day I received a message to confirm that they would send it to my work the next day - now three days later than the agreed delivery date. on the deliver day they told me they tried to deliver it but there was nobody in. 21 people in the office and they reckon that nobody was in. Later I receive a photograph of the front door of my home. so despite telling two individuals and the website, all confirming the delivery address to be my work, they try to deliver to my home. Now I have to get the shop who supplied the item involved to try to get someone who has at least the intelligence of a peanut to actually write my work address down and make sure that the item is delivered to me at work - yet another day later. The whole thing has been a farce. I agree with the comments that if you can't do the job properly, you should shut the doors and walk away. this company is awful. the poor drivers must get so much stick.

::Terrible experience using this courier service. Used their online system to change delivery address and received confirmation of this. Parcel was then not delivered as some of the address detail was missing. Phoned customer service and told them over the phone the missing detail, which now transpires to be a known fault with their computer system, I was told the driver will be passed on the detail and will deliver the following day. The next day...unfortunately a Friday, I thought I will check that morning that there would be no more issues and was frustrated to find out the parcel is being held at the depot because there is missing address detail. I called and explained the phone call from the previous day however I was now being told if the address isn't complete on the system the parcel cannot be delivered even though I have provided the missing detail over the phone. Now The customer service operator cannot update this detail and I cannot update online as each time I do part of the address gets lost. How ridiculous that the only other option is to phone the sender and get them to contact DPD with the delivery address! I need this item for work this weekend and as DPD cannot delivery the parcel I paid them to deliver next day I have to make an 80mile round trip to my "local depot" to collect it! An absolute disgrace from such a large company!!

::Terrible company. They either lied about the item being delivered, and the driver stole it, or they delivered it to the wrong address and didn't bother to check that they were getting a signature from the right person, at the right address. It was a very expensive item and I paid next day delivery. Now, I am not sure if I will get the item at all. Customer Services Manager "Kyle" refused to help when I called, stating that "management have barred us from calling the depots or the drivers. There is nothing we can / will do". DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE THIS COMPANY, OR ORDER ANYTHING FROM A COMPANY THAT USES THEM AS THE DELIVERY SERVICE.

::Ordered a PC through Curries/PC world, for next day delivery from in-store. The store never received the PC, even though we tried twice to collect it. When we rang a very helpful Curries/PC world customer services guy, he told us that DPD had tried to deliver the PC and noone had been there to receive the delivery. This is clearly a lie, as there were at least 5 shop floor workers at PC world working. Clearly this company do not care much for the customer, and I can only say please do not use them ever in the future. BUNCH OF MONKEYS
